What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores in the browser of the person visiting it, to remember something from one page to the next or from one visit to the next. For every cookie that is not strictly necessary to deliver the service, the law — Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the guidelines of the Data Protection Authority — requires prior consent.

Why there are none here

The pages of this site are static: they are generated when we publish and delivered to the browser as they are. There is no session to keep, no basket, no members' area — and therefore not even a technical cookie to store.

We use no analytics tools such as Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no remarketing services.

No third-party resources

Typefaces, images, icons and video are hosted on our own domain, not on external delivery networks. This is a deliberate choice: when a page loads a file from a third-party domain, that third party receives the visitor's IP address anyway, cookies or no cookies. Here it does not happen.

What does get recorded

The server hosting the site notes the requests it receives in its logs: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser. These are not cookies and they are not used to recognise you on later visits. They are the technical data described in section 2 of the privacy notice.

If this ever changes

If we introduce measurement tools or content embedded from third parties — a map, a video from an external platform, an analytics system — a consent banner will appear and this page will be updated before anything is switched on.
